Founded in 1973, COMEXPORT is Brazil’s largest foreign trade company. It boasts the most complete and efficient structure in international trade – with extensive experience in operational, logistical, tax, customs, and financial processes – in addition to being the company in the sector that invests the most in technology innovation, research and development to add value and strategic vision to its customers.

Leader in foreign trade in the country, the company serves various industries worldwide, including automotive and transportation in general, textile, pharmaceutical, chemical, steel, railway, mining, and food. It has more than 550 employees, is present in the main Brazilian ports and has operations all over the world.

A successful trajectory

1970s

COMEXPORT was created in 1973, with the purpose of generating export channels for industrialized products such as textiles and others for non-member and non-traditional markets.

1980s

Beginning of operations with the import of fertilizers and chemical products. Started work to open offices in China and Eastern Europe.

1990s

With the opening of the Brazilian market, imports of raw materials for the country's industry were intensified.

2000s

Started its activities in indirect foreign trade and expanded its portfolio of structured foreign trade solutions.

2010s

Became the largest Brazilian foreign trade company. Technological and control systems were implemented, providing more security and gains to customers in various sectors.

2020s

As a result of investments made in previous decades, it became the first Brazilian company to combine indirect foreign trade solutions with integrated supply chain management and intensive use of technology (5PL).
